Kottakkal Sukumara Ghritam is a herbal ghee-based Ayurvedic medicine. The Vidaryadi group of herbs, which are listed in Ashtanga Hrudayam, are used to make this herbal ghee. It is employed as a Panchakarma preparatory technique as well as a gynecological illness therapy drug. This medication is made in accordance with Keralan Ayurvedic principles.
Kottakkal Sukumara Ghritam benefits:-
- It is used as medicine and also in preparatory procedures called panchakarma for the treatment of lower abdominal pain in women, abscesses, hemorrhoids, menstrual pain, inflammation, and constipation. This will show better results in hernia and Vata-based gulma. For those constipated by nature, this will do well if taken daily.
- In women, it is usually given as a daily tonic in lower doses for overall good health. It is also used to improve skin complexion.
Kottakkal Sukumara Ghritam dosage:-
As medicine – quarter to a half teaspoon with water, usually before food, once or twice a day, or as directed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
For the Panchakarma preparation – Snehana procedure, the dose depends on the disease status and the judgment of the Ayurvedic doctor.
Kottakkal Sukumara Ghritam Side Effects:-
- There are no known side effects of this medicine. However, it is best to use this product under medical supervision. Self-medication with this medicine is discouraged.
- People with diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, and high BP should exercise precautions.
- In very high doses, it may cause diarrhea and indigestion.
