Unjha Dasmool Quath (also spelled as Dashamoola, Dashamula & Dashamul) is a name given to ten roots of certain plants listed in the ingredient section below. The combination of these ten roots is used widely in Ayurveda for many health conditions related to nerves, muscles, bones, and joints. It has potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and moderate analgesic actions. It is a part of several ayurvedic medicines and alone used for pain disorders and inflammatory diseases related to the musculoskeletal system including osteoarthritis, gouty arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

- Shalparni (Desmodium gangeticum)
- Prashniparni (Uraria picta)
- Choti kateli (Solanum surattenese)
- Badi kateli (Solanum indicum)
- Gokhru (Tribulus terrestris)
- Belgiri (Aegle marmelos)
- Arnimool (Premna integrifolia)
- Sonapaatha (Oroxylum arborea)
- Paadal (Sterospermum suaveoleus)

Dashmool (Dashamula) is indicated for the following health conditions:
- Osteoarthritis
- Muscle spasm
- Low backache
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Gout
- Paralysis
- Facial paralysis
- Hemiplegia
- Sciatica
Dosage:-
For preparing a decoction, take 30 grams of Dashmool Coarse Powder in 480 grams of water and boil to reduce it to 60 ml Dashamoola liquid. Strain the liquid and take it as prescribed.
The general dosage of Decoction (Kwath) prepared with Dashmool Churna is as follows.
Children 15 to 30 ml
Adults30 to 60 ml -Maximum Possible Dosage 120 ml Per Day (in divided doses)
