Kottakkal Usirasavam is liquid Ayurvedic medicine used to treat conditions like skin illnesses and bleeding issues. It has a self-generated natural alcohol content of 4 to 9%. The water and self-generated alcohol in the product serve as a vehicle for the body to absorb the active botanical ingredients that are soluble in both water and alcohol.
Kottakkal Usirasavam Dosage:-
- 12 – 24 ml. one or two times a day, usually advised after food.
- If needed, an equal quantity of water can be added before consumption.
Kottakkal Usirasavam Uses:-
Bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, heavy menstrual bleeding, skin diseases, intestinal worms, inflammatory conditions, and piles.

Kottakkal Usirasavam Side effects:-
A very high dose of 50 ml or more may cause stomach irritation.
If given for wrong complaints, as mentioned above, it may cause delayed periods and prolonged menstrual cycles.
